Using the correct terminology
It’s more important than ever to understand the barriers and health inequalities that LGBT people experience and how by helping reducing assumptions, we can create a more inclusive environment. There are lots to factor in including how to ask open questions, understanding terminology, definitions of key terms, hiring practices, inclusive policies, exploring the importance of pronouns and how to ask people to share theirs.
