With around 10,000 people aged over 65 injuring themselves through falls each year, organisations in Greater Manchester are teaming up to get more services in place for winter.

NHS Greater Manchester has been named as one of four areas that will receive funding. The funding from Department of Health and Social Care’s Adult Social Care Technology Funds is for work to help reduce the risk of falls.
