Greater Manchester’s Month of Hope 2026

The Month of Hope runs annually in Greater Manchester from 10 September (World Suicide Prevention Day) until 10 October (World Mental Health Day).
It is about raising awareness of suicide by encouraging everyone in Greater Manchester to have open conversations about suicide and play a role in preventing suicide, while inspiring hope across the city region.
