Medicines Wastage 2024

Medicines wastage 2024

Wasted or unused medicines is a serious problem within the NHS. High numbers of wasted medicine items have a negative impact on the environment, costs money and can lead to poor patient outcomes. Our campaign aims to reduce the number of wasted or unused medicine items across Greater Manchester by educating and empowering patients in a positive way. We will share tips on how to avoid wasting medication and the benefits of doing so.
