Extra evening and Saturday Appointments at GP Practices are launching in Stockport. Appointments will now be available on weekdays from 6.30pm – 8pm, and Saturdays from 9am – 5pm. GP practices will be working together on a rota basis with other local practices in their local area, known as Primary Care Networks (PCNs), to offer the extra appointments.

Past and current smokers in Tameside are being invited to an NHS lung health check in a drive to improve earlier diagnosis of lung cancer and save more lives.
