Children’s Christmas holiday catch-up flu vaccination clinics

A young child wearing a grey t-shirt flexing his arms to show his muscles.

It is now even easier for your child to get their quick and painless flu nasal spray vaccine.

Find a clinic offering free walk-in vaccinations during the school Christmas holidays.

They are for:

  •  school age children (reception to year 11) who missed their vaccination at school or are home schooled
  • children who were aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2025 who’ve not been vaccinated by their GP

Clinics are taking place in areas where the number of children vaccinated is low.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in one of those areas though,  you can still attend if your child needs their flu vaccination.

No appointment is needed. If you need more information:

Remember, if you have a child aged two or three, you can also contact you GP practice to book their vaccination or get the free vaccination at some pharmacies.

Flu viruses change every year, so make sure your child gets their flu vaccination each year. It keeps them protected and stops flu spreading.

**You can request a vaccine that does not contain pork gelatine if needed**
