The Memory Loss Advice Service has two dementia advisers and a Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) adviser. The service provides a regular point of contact and ongoing support, prior to or after a diagnosis of dementia or MCI, so that you and your family or carers needs are met.

A charity helping people to live positively with dementia. They offer friendship and activity groups, tailored carer support, training, transport and other support.

Dementia Hub Trafford
Monthly peer support meetings for people with a diagnosis of dementia and their families or carers to attend.
Urmston Hub: 2nd Monday, 1.30pm to 2.30pm at The Sharples Building, Age UK Salford and Trafford, 1-3 Church Road, Urmston, M41 9EH
Hale Hub: 4th Thursday, 1.30pm to 2.30pm at All Saints Church, Hale Road, Hale Barns, Altrincham WA15 8SP
Attendees can meet others in a similar situation, share tips and experiences, and provide mutual peer support.

Passion for Life – Sale
A dementia specific day support service that maintains and encourages independence; provides an opportunity for social interaction with peers; enhances self confidence and wellbeing; promotes physical and intellectual stimulation and retains and encourages life skills. Transport can be arranged and a two-course hot meal can be provided at an extra cost.

Altrincham Music Café
The Altrincham Music Café is for people with dementia and their carers, including a music session. It is free to attend with free tea, coffee and biscuits. No music experience required!
