Hearing assessments
Hearing assessments are available to people aged 18+ who are Deaf (profound/severe loss) or those who are hard of hearing and issued with hearing aids (NHS or private). You must be a resident in the borough and pay your council tax to Bury Council.

Nothern Care Alliance
The Northern Care Alliance offers a wide range of audiology services for children and adults living in Bury. They help with hearing and balance assessment, along with support and rehabilitation for conditions such as tinnitus.
They offer digital hearing aid fitting and any ongoing care people need. They are:
- Nationally accredited
- Do not have long waiting lists
- Offer a direct link with NHS community and hospital services
- A dementia friendly service
- Use top quality, modern and attractive digital hearing aids for adults and children
- Offer a Click and Post service
- Offer domically visits
