At Saint Mary’s Hospitals the staff are there to offer you help and support with your choice of feeding method for your baby both whilst you are still in hospital and after you have been discharged home.
When you are at home their specialist infant feeding team are still available to support you.
- The Infant Feeding Team based at Saint Mary’s Oxford Road Campus can be reached on 0161 276 8910.
- The Infant Feeding Team based at Saint Mary’s at Wythenshawe can be reached on 0161 291 5461.
- The Infant Feeding Team at North Manchester General, infant feeding hotline following discharge from North Manchester can be reached on 0161 625 8011, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

National Breastfeeding Helpline
If you have any questions about breastfeeding, the National Breastfeeding Helpline offers confidential information and support. Call 0300 100 0212 (open 24 hours a day).
Anya App
The Anya App is designed to give 24/7 support with infant feeding. This is not a free service. Visit Anya for more information and sign up.
Manchester Community Infant Feeding Team
The Manchester Community Infant Feeding Team support all families with a Manchester Health visitor. Families can self refer by calling 0161 388 4009 or e-mailing infantfeedingteam@mft.nhs.uk, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm.
They offer feeding support and drop in sessions for families to attend.
