The Health Visiting Service is a universal prevention and early detection service for all children and families that will enable them to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. They team can advise on infant feeding amongst many other things. 

Once you have been discharged by your midwife into the care of your health visitor you can contact your health visitor:

Homestart Salford Infant Feeding Peer Support Service.

The Homestart Salford Infant Feeding Peer Support Team provide evidence-based information and support to new and expectant parents to help them make informed choices around feeding their baby. They run weekly drop-in sessions across Salford – with no need to book. Information about the drop-in sessions in Salford

They are open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm, excluding bank holidays.
