Trafford Infant Feeding Support
The team is made up of an infant feeding coordinator/lactation consultant and breastfeeding support worker.
They offer support via, phone support, home visits, drop -in sessions and educational workshops (coming soon).

Salford Health Visitors
The Health Visiting Service is a universal prevention and early detection service for all children and families that will enable them to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. They team can advise on infant feeding amongst many other things.
Once you have been discharged by your midwife into the care of your health visitor you can contact your health visitor:

Homestart Salford Infant Feeding Peer Support Service.
The Homestart Salford Infant Feeding Peer Support Team provide evidence-based information and support to new and expectant parents to help them make informed choices around feeding their baby. They offer support via telephone, video call and home visits. To self-refer please complete the online form [https://hsts.org.uk/infant-feeding] or call them on 07512550112.
They run weekly drop-in sessions across Salford – with no need to book. Information about the drop-in sessions in Salford.
They are open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.30pm, excluding bank holidays.

Family Hub Infant Feeding Team
The Family Hub Infant Feeding Team delivers a service funded by Family Hubs and Start for Life programme to provide infant feeding support in addition to services provided by midwives, health visitors and Family Hubs, which are already available throughout Rochdale, Heywood, and Middleton.

Accepts referrals for babies up to the age of 12 weeks from birth with feeding problems who reside in Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford. We also accept referrals from HomeStart and BOOBS. Referrals are accepted from maternity staff, neonatal staff, 0-19 services, paediatric services or from general practitioners

Oldham Care Organisations, Royal Oldham Hospital – Maternity, Neonatal and Paediatric Services
The Infant Feeding Team at Royal Oldham Infirmary provides support to parents and staff where there are infant feeding difficulties.
This team is available Monday to Fridays, 7.30am to 3.30pm and if necessary, the team as well as maternity, neonatal and paediatric services can refer for infant feeding support by community services.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
At Saint Mary’s Hospitals the staff are there to offer you help and support with your choice of feeding method for your baby both whilst you are still in hospital and after you have been discharged home.
When you are at home their specialist infant feeding team are still available to support you.
