Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request information regarding the NHS Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) programme (previously known as the Targeted Lung Health Check) within your ICB region:

1. Which areas currently have an active LCS/TLHC programme?
2. For each active programme:
   1. Is it delivered in-house or by an external provider?
   2. If external, who is the provider?
   3. When is the next planned re-procurement or retender?
3. Which areas currently do not have an active programme?
   1. For those areas, is a programme planned?
   2. If so, when?

If possible, please provide this information in a table format for clarity.

1. Lung cancer screening is currently being rolled out across the geography of NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (NHS GM), which includes, Bolton, Bury, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR), Manchester, Oldham Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan localities.

The programme has invited eligible patients from 275 GP practices across Greater Manchester (as of February 2025).

2. NHS GM has 1 active programme.
   1. This programme is delivered by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
   2. N/A
   3. N/A.

3. 134 Greater Manchester GP practices have not yet been involved the programme (as of February 2025).

   2. These practices will be part of an active programme in line with the national timeframes set by NHS England.
