I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information:

1. Please provide the name and email address of the person with overall responsibility for Speech and Language Therapy for schools in the ICB area.
2. Please provide the name and email address of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator with overall responsibility for schools in the ICB area.

1. NHS Trusts are responsible for the delivery of Speech and Language Therapy services, some of which will be delivered in schools but also other settings. Schools can also source their own support to meet children’s needs within their settings. Therefore, NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM) does not hold the information requested and it will be necessary for you to contact the Provider Trusts for the information you seek. 2. The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) role is a school specific role whose duty is to identify and support children with SEN/D within their setting. Therefore, it will be necessary for you to contact the Greater Manchester Local Authorities for the information you seek.
