Questions:

Please provide a breakdown on how each locality funds general practice – the how and how much GPs get for doing what they do – LCS wise

Clarity Requested 2 May 2025:

In order to be able to process your request and provide you with the correct information, I would be grateful if you could you provide the following clarity:

1. Could you please be as specific as possible with your request? Perhaps some guidance would help frame the request as well?
2. Which year do you want the information?
3. Is this about amount of funds available if targets are achieved, or the amount of funds paid (which could skew things)?
4. What do you mean by ‘LCS wise’?

I am sorry we are unable to help you further at this time, and I look forward to receiving the necessary clarity to be able to action your request.

Clarity Received 6 May 2025:

1. 2023-24 and 2024-25 if possible.
2. Funds available if targets achieved
3. Would be interesting to see what each primary care locality has to do to achieve the funds. I am interested to understand the approach each GM locality takes – whether indicators are similar across localities and if not whether some areas are asked to achieve higher ‘standards’ or requires more intense effort to achieve than others. I am holding that one GP should not have to do more for their ‘bucks’ than another.
