Please provide the following information for the last three financial years: 2022–2023, 2023–2024, and 2024–2025 (to date):

  1. Has your ICB provided funding to any women’s organisations supporting victims/survivors of Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) – including but not limited to domestic abuse, sexual assault? For each organisation funded, please include name of the organisation, total amount of funding allocated, purpose of the funding / description of service supported.

 

  1. Has your ICB provided funding to any VAWG organisation led by and for Black and minoritised women? For each organisation funded, please include name of the organisation, total amount of funding allocated, purpose of the funding / description of service supported.

 

  1. Has your ICB collaborated or engaged with VAWG organisations led by and for Black and minoritised women since 2022? If yes, describe the nature of collaboration.

 

  1. Please confirm whether any engagement or commissioning of VAWG organisations led by and for Black and minoritised women is planned.

 

  1. Has NHS Women’s Health Hub funding been used to support VAWG services in your ICB area? If yes, please specify how.

 

  1. Has your ICB conducted any Equality Impact Assessments relating to the commissioning of VAWG services since 2022? If yes, please provide the relevant documents.

 

  1. What monitoring or evaluation processes are in place to assess whether funded VAWG services are reaching and effectively supporting Black and minoritised women?

 

  1. Please provide any guidance documents or commissioning strategies used by the ICB when making funding decisions related to VAWG.

1. Yes see below:

  • Rochdale & District MIND – Domestic Abuse support – Rochdale MBC Council Funded, £15,110 (24/25)
  • Manchester Women’s Aid – Part NHS and Part Manchester City Council Funded £426,638 (24/25)

The Primary Care DVA service consists of a General Practice based DVA training, support and referral programme which provides care pathways for all standard – medium risk patients (aged 16+) and GP staff working in Manchester

  • We are Survivors – Part NHS, Part NHSE Funded, £351,820 (24/25)– Talking Therapies at Step 3 for survivors of male rape
  • Pennine care NHS FT – Mental Health Pathfinder – NHSE Commissioned service.  The pathfinder partnership with other NHS and charity organisations provides support for survivors of sexual abuse and violence who have additional and complex mental health needs.  I am waiting for the 25/26 finances to be confirmed.
  • Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Trust – Violence and Aggression Pathfinder – NHSE Commissioned service, £35,000 (24/25).  I haven’t got any other details.

 

2. Black Health Agency £12,000 to support and deliver engagement with women around Gynaecology services.
