- NHS GM Commissions memory assessment services primarily from its NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust providers, being Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. For both these providers, it is not possible to separately identify a value for the memory assessments from the remainder of their contract, as services are commissioned as part of a block arrangement.
NHS GM also commissions memory assessment services from a range of GP Providers. However, similarly, the expenditure associated with providing memory assessments cannot be separately identified from other GP activity, and therefore cannot be provided.
- NHS GM commissions providers to undertake a range of assessments, however, some of these are part of wider packages of care, and therefore are excluded from this response. This is because the service commissioned is not just an assessment but includes a therapy element as well.
The follow mental health conditions include arrangements where some assessments are commissioned by NHS GM from private providers:
- CYP Psychological Assessments
- Family Therapeutic Service
