  1. I am requesting a copy of the current contract in place for Adult ADHD Services in Greater Manchester. NHS England policy dictates there must be a current contract in place with an NHS ICB in England to cover the services.
  2. If there is not a current contract in place for Adult ADHD Services in Manchester then I am requesting any communication, emails, letters or meeting notes, discussing the decision to not put one into place.

  1. NHS health care providers:
  • Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Trust
  • Pennine Care NHS Foundation NHS Trust

Adult ADHD services are provided as part of core mental health block contracts. We will publish the contract details on the NHS Greater Manchester ICB (hereafter referred to as (NHS GM) website and via Find a Tender Service (FTS) portal Find high value contracts in the public sector – GOV.UK in line with the NHS Provider Selection Regime.

Non-NHS health care providers:

  • Optimise
  • Jacobs Clinic
  • Dr Leach – Egerton and Dunscar Health Centre

We are currently in the process of agreeing 2025/26 block contracts and indicative activity plans with providers.  Decisions are still subject to NHS GM Governance. When the contracts are agreed, we will publish the contract details on the NHS GM website and via Find a Tender Service (FTS) portal in line with the NHS Provider Selection Regime.

Right to Choose: Non contracted activity is being delivered by a range of right to choose Adult ADHD providers nationwide, where Greater Manchester patients are being treated under the implied arrangements of a qualifying contract held by another ICB.  We are currently reviewing outturn activity, waiting lists, and agreeing 25/26 indicative activity plans with these providers.

NHS GM has very recently concluded a public consultation concerning the Adult ADHD clinical model and how services will be delivered in future.  We are in the process reviewing the results which are determining our 25/26 commissioning and contracting strategy.
