I am writing to request the following information please:

  1. Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) Expenditure

Please provide details of your most recent Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme expenditure per PCN (by ODS Code), including:

  1. Total ARRS funding allocated for each PCN
  2. Current utilisation rates against allocated funding
  3. (if available) Breakdown by role type (e.g., clinical pharmacists, physician associates, social prescribers)

 

  1. Local Enhanced Services and Incentive Schemes 2025/26

Please provide information about any local enhanced services or locally commissioned incentive schemes in place for general practice for the 2025/26 financial year, specifically:

  1. Details of schemes focused on long-term condition management
  2. Payment structures and rates for these services
  3. Eligibility criteria for practices
  4. Performance metrics or outcomes required

Ideally a PDF / Document of the local scheme would be warmly appreciated.

The Manchester diabetes LCS relates to insulin initiation in GP Practices, with payment of  £300per patient initiated.

The lines where there are multiple tariffs

  • Ear wax removal

1 = syringing

2= microsuction one ear

3= microsuction both ears

  • Shared care

1 = monitoring quarterly payment

2 = initiation – quarterly payments

3 = monitoring after practice initiation

  • Ring pessary – An item of service fee of £26.33 will be paid for recorded interventions when carried out within the practice and £52.65 when carried out during a home visit.
  • IUCD non contraception – An item of service fee of £100.90 per patient will be paid which covers insertion, ongoing management and removal.  The removal may be of an existing IUD prior to a replacement or at a later date for an IUD inserted under a previous LCS within Tameside. An item of service fee of £33.67 per patient will be paid for the removal of an IUD that was inserted by secondary care or a practice outside of Tameside when no replacement is required.

£89 per procedure (£43 if inappropriate referral)

Domiciliary visit = £5  up to 2 visits /pt/quarter (max £10 claim)

PCN-Led Gynaecology Service Triage of referral = £30/pt

1st GP appointment = £105/pt

Follow-up GP appointment = £105/pt

DNA = £105/pt
