Please note unless specified these questions relate to both children and adults.  Please also include any packages that are jointly commissioned by ICBs and Local Authorities and specify where applicable.

1) Please provide a list of current domiciliary care providers commissioned by the ICB.  Next to each provider please include within the information whether or not each provider is part of a framework agreement, block contract, spot purchase or other arrangement (please specify)

2) How many referrals have not been fulfilled by providers in each of the previous three calendar months in the following areas: (please include total hours for each package)

Domiciliary care

3) Please provide the number of children assessed as requiring complex care or domiciliary care who are currently awaiting a care package along with the average waiting time.  Please specify if the complex care relates to physical care (ie tracheostomy) or complex by way of learning disability or mental health including autism.  (Please specify children over the age of 16 (in terms of numbers of cases). We would ask that all children are included aged 4-18.

4) What proportion of domiciliary care and complex care packages are commissioned via Spot Purchase and what is the total value of this?  Please provide the figures for the last two years. Domiciliary care refers to providing support and personal care within the family dwelling.

5) How many clients/service currently require supported living accommodation with such needs at the time of writing this email? This can apply to people both under and over 18.

6) Who are your current awarded providers for all homecare/supported living related packages? Please specify all providers including those that have been awarded inside a framework, but also those outside- such as spot purchase.  Framework can include, PSLs, tenders or dynamic purchasing agreements. Please specify which category each provider falls into.

7) What is the total value of spend in these areas (please break down into Children and Adults)> Please provide total spend data for:  2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024 to 2025

NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM) consists of the following 10 Greater Manchester Localities: Bolton, Bury, Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan (former Clinical Commissioning Groups), who currently all have their own processes/systems for recording their Continuing Healthcare (CHC)/Complex Care activity. However, due to the low numbers involved (where patient data is 5 or less <5) we consider this to be exempt under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as the disclosure of this information may lead to the identification of individuals. This exemption is not subject to the public interest test.
