1. Is there a time/number of procedure limit for reconstructive breast procedures following breast cancer (including revision procedures) in your CCG?
2. Is there availability/funding for breast surgery on the contralateral breast (the breast without breast cancer) for means of providing symmetry to any planned reconstructive procedure of the breast with breast cancer? If so, is there a time/number of procedure limit for this type of surgery?

2. The Aesthetic Breast Surgery Commissioning statement – GM Aesthetic Breast Surgery Commissioning Statement excludes surgery following cancer. Reconstructive surgery following cancer, trauma or another significant clinical event is not covered by this commissioning statement and is routinely commissioned across Greater Manchester. The treating clinician will determine whether reconstructive surgery on the breast without breast cancer is deemed necessary.
