1. Between 2009 and 2024, have any children presented to your centre—or any NHS centre across the UK and Ireland—allegedly suffering from glycerol intoxication?
2. The article references “tertiary metabolic services” and “paediatricians” on page 2, suggesting that all 21 children were initially examined in emergency departments and subsequently in metabolic/paediatric clinics. Could you confirm this?
3. If this information cannot be confirmed, could you clarify how Professor Ellen Crushell obtained data on acute presentations where “slush iced drink-related hypoglycaemia” was diagnosed (i.e., from emergency departments, metabolic/paediatric clinics, or both)?
