Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act, which has been received by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (NHS GM). NHS GM was formed on 1st July 2022 following the merger of the 10 former NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) of Greater Manchester, including NHS Manchester CCG. Each former CCG became a locality within NHS GM, and is responsible for the management of certain budgets. The Manchester Primary Care Commissioning Committee is responsible for primary care spend in the Manchester locality, as distinct from primary care spend across Greater Manchester. As such, in the response below, the information provided reflects budgets and spend in respect of the former NHS Manchester CCG (for the period up to 30th June 2022), and then the Manchester locality within NHS GM for periods from 1st July 2022.
1. PQRRS Winter funding allocated for 2022/23 was £500,000.
2. PQRRS Winter funding allocated for 2023/24 was £600,000. For 2023/24 this funding was supplemented due to release of additional UEC Winter Funding to Manchester Locality from pan-GM budgets. Therefore, the total funding allocated to Manchester Practices to support Winter Capacity was £1,076,000.
3. Financial Summary Tables for the 2 years are shown in the Excel File.
**An excel sheet was sent to the requester with this response. If you require a copy of the full response, together with the excel sheet, please contact NHS GM’s FOI team – nhsgm.foi@nhs.net.**
