Please provide the following information:

1. In relation to Winter funding in 2022/23, please provide the following amounts:
The allocation to Manchester GP practices from:
a. PQRRS
b. The National Winter Fund
c. The Greater Manchester Winter Access Funding
d. The MARIS scheme

2. Please provide the allocation to Chorlton Family Practice (CFP) and/or West Central Manchester PCN from:
a. PQRRS
b. The National Winter Fund
c. The Greater Manchester Winter Access Funding
d. The MARIS scheme amount issued to West Central Manchester PCN

3. In relation to winter funding 2022/3 and 2023/4- please provide the allocation of Surge Hub funding to:
a. Greater Manchester
b. West Central Manchester PCN
c. Chorlton Family Practice

Whilst your request has been made principally in respect of GP Practices in Manchester, it should be noted that during the periods for which information is requested, the former NHS Manchester CCG ceased to exist, and commissioning responsibility instead transferred to NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (NHS GM). This transfer occurred on 1st July 2022. NHS GM became the responsible commissioner for patients registered with GPs in all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester from this point forward.

Throughout this response, data is requested in respect of the allocation of funds from particular schemes. This is interpreted as being the overall budget applied to a scheme (i.e. planned spend) as distinct from expenditure or actual spend. There may be instances where the actual spend differs from the planned spend, for numerous reasons, such as providers not achieving the necessary targets required to receive payment.

a. NHS GM ICB Winter Surge funding allocated to Manchester Locality in 2022/23 was £148.743. In 2023/24 it was £417,580.
b. Surge funding in Manchester Locality was not allocated to any individual PCN. This was allocated to 3 delivery partners who delivered Surge Hub services in line with the GM Specification.
c. Surge funding in Manchester Locality was not allocated to any individual Practice. This was allocated to 3 delivery partners who delivered Surge Hub services in line with the GM Specification.
