I am submitting a request under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the private company- Psychiatry UK and its subgroups or subcompanies contracted by CCG/ICG Salford to provide ADHD assessments and treatment. For the most recent 12-month period available, please provide:
1. The number of patients referred, assessed, and diagnosed with ADHD to this provider.
2. Confirmation of whether the provider’s assessment methods align with current national guidance i.e. NICE guidelines or similar gold standards.
3. The number of patients started on ADHD medication, and whether these medications are licensed for use in ADHD within the UK.
4. The professional roles of staff who carry out ADHD assessments (e.g., doctor, nurse, psychologist) and a breakdown of these by role and percentage of assessments carried out.
5. The total number of clinical staff employed by the provider for ADHD services, and how many are on permanent full-time contracts.
6. Whether any financial or non-financial incentives or targets are in place for staff in relation to diagnosing ADHD or initiating treatment.
