I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information.

1. The number of staff employed by your Trust whose primary role relates to Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) as of September 2025.

2. The total salary cost for these staff in the most recent financial year.

3. The total spend by your Trust on EDI-related training, workshops, events or external consultancy in each of the past three financial years.

4. Copies of any mandatory EDI training materials currently in use for staff.

1. As of Month 6 (September-25) in the 2025/26 financial year, the NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (NHS GM) employed a total of 6 (WTE) staff within its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team, with a total headcount of 7. This dedicated workforce plays a crucial role in supporting NHS GM as an employer and in addressing workforce and health inequalities across the Greater Manchester system.

 

 

2. The total salary cost up to Month 6 (April – September-25) for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team is £270,627.

 

 

3. Please find below the total spend by our Trust on EDI related training, workshops, events and external consultancy.
