2. The purpose of the tool kit is to support NHS Greater Manchester’s communications and engagement team to be successful in reaching the Deaf community with important health messages and other communications as well as ensuring equity of access to engagement opportunities. Therefore, it is an internal tool meant for the use of hearing staff and has not been put into a BSL version.
2.1 The tool kit was first produced in March 2025 and has since been amended.
3. The tool kit has been shared internally with the members of NHS Greater Manchester’s communications and engagement team. It has not been published or shared with stakeholders because it is an internal tool.
