Please may you provide me with the number of people who have received NHS Continuing Healthcare through the fast-track and the number of fast-track patients who subsequently had this funding withdrawn. By withdrawn, I mean the ICB withdrew funding following an assessment or review.
I would like the data to include the number of fast-track patients who had their funding withdrawn (a) within six months and (b) within a year.
I would like the data broken down for the most recent five years, with a year-end date of 5 April or whichever year-end is most convenient.
If this cannot be provided I would like the annual data for the last three years or, failing that, the most recent two years,
If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.
If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or phone. My details are outlined below.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
Number of patients who have been awarded Fast Track funding can be found on the NHS Funded Care return published online: Statistics » Continuing Healthcare and NHS-funded Nursing Care

The number of people who have had fast track funding withdrawn see attached table below. However, please note not all localities capture this data and therefore we are unable to provide a response for Greater Manchester as a whole.
The information below has been provided by Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan.
