Could I please request information regarding the commissioning of GP Out of Hours services in your region. The specific things I am interested in are as follows:
1. Who is the current provider of these services?
2. Which GP Out of Hours services went through procurement and which were a direct award?
3. What is the actual spend on this contract from the start of the contract to the current date?
4. What is the start date and duration of the contract?
5. Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, what is the duration of the extension?
6. Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
7. Is there an aim to go out to procurement for this service? If so, when do you envisage this occurring?

1. There are several providers currently providing GP Out of Hours services across the 10 Greater Manchester Localities. These are:

• Go To Doc Limited
• Mastercall Limited
• Bardoc Limited
• Salford Primary Care Together Community Interest Company
• Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

2. The current arrangements in place were commissioned and procured under previous Clinical Commissioning Groups. Most have been superseded by contracts awarded under Process C of the Provider Selection Regime, apart from Salford Primary Care Together which was procured during 24/25 in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations (2015).
3. In totality (all GP OOHs contractual arrangements combined) the annual value is c£35m.

5. There is an extension clause included within the Salford Primary Care Together CIC contract which if approved could extend the contract from 30/06/27 to 30/06/29.
