Please could you provide me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
Further to my previous requests regarding the ICB’s expenditure on ADHD assessments which is for a research report into expenditure by ICBs on private providers of ADHD assessments, I am seeking the following information regarding expenditure data for this financial year.
I appreciate that it might not be possible for the ICB to separate off expenditure on ADHD assessments from ASD assessments and so please do provide total amounts for both commissioned services.
1. The total amount spent by the ICB on ADHD assessments with non- NHS private providers between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025
2. A breakdown of expenditure by the ICB on individual non-NHS private providers for the delivery of ADHD assessments between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025 where the ICB has a contract.
3. A breakdown of expenditure by the ICB on individual non-NHS private providers for the delivery of ADHD assessments between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025 where the ICB does not have a contract (Non-contract activity/Right to Choose)
4. The total budget for expenditure on ADHD assessments for the financial year 2025/26.
4a Where available, please provide the total budget for expenditure on ADHD assessments for the financial year 2025/26 for those assessments which are undertaken by non-NHS private companies on a non contract activity/Right to choose basis
5. The forecast overspend or underspend on the 2025/26 budget for ADHD assessments as of 30 September 2025.
5b Where available, please provide the forecast overspend or underspend on the 2025/26 budget for ADHD assessments for those assessments which are undertaken by non-NHS private companies on a non contract activity/Right to choose basis (i.e. the overspend on the budget described in 4a above, if available.)

1. The total amount spent by NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM) on ADHD assessments with non-NHS private providers between April 2025 and 30 September 2025 is £7,567,123.04.

2. The total expenditure for NHS GM on individual non-NHS private providers for the delivery of ADHD assessments between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025 where the ICB has a contract is £872,474.50.

3. The total expenditure for NHS GM on individual non-NHS private providers for the delivery of ADHD assessments between 1 April 2025 and 30 September 2025 where NHS GM does not have a contract (Non-contract activity/Right to Choose) is £6,694,648.54.

4. The total budget for expenditure on ADHD assessments for the financial year 2025/26 is £8,841,594.00

a) The total budget for expenditure on ADHD assessments for the financial year 2025/26 for those assessments which are undertaken by non-NHS private companies on a non contract activity/right to choose basis is £7,695,046.00.

5. The forecast overspend on the 2025/26 budget for ADHD assessments as of 30th September 2025 is £5,034,121.66.
