Please could I request the following information Under the Freedom of Information Act:

Question 1: the total spend on commissioning maternity services for each year since 2019.

Question 2: the total number of mothers using maternity services each year since 2019.

Question 3: the total funding in pounds sterling allocated to gynaecological services for each year since 2019.

1 & 3. NHS Greater Manchester does not hold the information you have requested in the format that has been requested. This is because maternity and gynaecological services are principally procured from NHS Trusts and Foundation Trusts under block contract arrangements, which do not specify costs associated with a particular service. The NHS providers themselves in Greater Manchester may be able to provide further information as to the costs of services classed as antenatal, labour and birth and post-natal. Freedom of Information requests can be made to the Trusts in Greater Manchester using information from their websites.
