I understand from Trafford’s planning documentation related to the proposal for the Carrington Relief Road that the NHS Greater Manchester (Integrated Care Board) “has advised that there are no impacts on health services as a consequence of this proposal”.
Please can you provide the detailed assessment that you undertook to come to this conclusion, which is astounding given the huge increases in air, noise, light, vibration, dust and water pollution that will impact both the mental and physical health of local communities. In addition, we anticipate huge increases in traffic and the associated accidents and incidents that will also impact trauma and other services.
NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (NHS GM), does not hold a detailed assessment/document requested.
In line with section 16 of the FOI Act, advise and assist, you may wish to contact the Environmental Agency and Trafford Borough Council’s Public Health or Local Authority Planning department for further information. In terms of road safety concerns a response would be required from the national highway’s agency. Pease find below links to their websites and how to make a Freedom of Information request to assist you.
