Questions:

Can I please make a Freedom of Information request for applications made to NHS England for Provider Revenue Support in each month of the 2025-2026 financial year to date.

Please share details of the amount of cash requested and approved in each month of the 25-26 year for each trust in the system. Please fill in this information in the spreadsheet attached. Please only fill in months for which cash support has been submitted.

I understand this information about trust requests will be held at a system level.

Please note this email addressed to XXXX is for information for Lancashire and South Cumbria iCB and Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB.

I write in response to your Freedom of Information request received by NHS Greater Manchester on 27 January 2026.

In line with the Freedom of Information Act, section 45 Code of Practice, paragraphs 2.8 and 2.9, to be able to process your request and provide you with the correct information, I would be grateful if you could you provide the following clarity:

1. Within the request you have stated that “this email addressed to XXXX is for information for Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB and Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB.” Please can you clarify what information it is that you are requesting from NHS GM, or if this request has in fact been sent to us in error?

I am requesting the information from GM ICB.

As stated, that sentence was only for XXXX reference (not GM ICB).

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act, which has been reviewed by NHS Greater Manchester ICB (NHS GM).

You request asks for information on the value of cash requested by NHS Providers from NHS England. NHS GM is not formally involved in this process, and therefore your request would be best directed to either the individual Trusts who may or may not have made requests, or NHS England, who would have received them.
