I am writing on behalf of Colostomy UK to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding stoma care review provision within your Integrated Care Board.

We recognise that data may be held across different providers, and we would be grateful for any information you are able to provide from centrally held records, commissioning arrangements, or reasonable estimates where exact data is not available.

Please could you provide the following:

1. Does your ICB commission, specify, or support routine annual clinical reviews for people living with a stoma
2. If yes:
   • Which services or providers typically deliver these reviews (e.g. acute trusts, community services, primary care, or other commissioned providers)?
   • Do you hold any information on the proportion of patients who receive a review within a 12-month period? If so, please provide the most recent available figure or estimate.
3. If no:
   • Are you aware of any current plans, discussions, or service developments to introduce or standardise routine reviews for stoma patients?
4. Does your ICB hold any estimate of the number of people living with a stoma within your population? If so, please provide the most recent figure available.
5. Do you currently collect, review, or have access to information relating to:
   • The frequency of stoma care reviews, and/or
   • Outcomes associated with stoma care (for example complications, hospital activity, or patient-reported outcomes)?

If this information is not held centrally, we would be grateful if you could confirm this rather than redirecting the request.
