FOI 2026/1715

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request information regarding the redistribution of primary care funding associated with the transition to BeCCoR.

Specifically:

1. A breakdown of any funding removed or reduced from:

– Core Plus

– HMR locally commissioned services

2. Details of where this funding has been reallocated, including:

– GM ICB central budgets

– Urgent and Emergency Care funding

– Prevention and population health programmes

– Neighbourhood or “left shift” investment

– Medicines optimisation programmes

– Transformation or resilience funding

3. For each destination, please provide:

– Total funding amount

– Whether funding is accessible to GP practices directly, indirectly (via PCN), or not at all

4. Any business cases or board papers that justify or describe this reallocation.

5. Any analysis performed by GM ICB on the expected financial impact on individual GP practices.

Please provide responses in structured format (preferably Excel where applicable).
