NHS Greater Manchester ICB (NHS GM) is the commissioner of healthcare services for the registered population of Greater Manchester. NHS GM’s financial year runs from the 1st April to the 31st March each year, and as part of your request data in respect of the financial years 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26 have bene considered.

NHS GM’s spend with Manchester Surgical Services is presented in the table below based on the date the payments were made by NHS GM.

Year Amount paid by NHS GM
2023/24 £2,591,039.74
2024/25 £1,162,966.09

In respect of part 1) above, NHS GM only holds data in respect of its own expenditure. Where an NHS Trust or Foundation Trust (being “a secondary care provider”) has incurred spend with Manchester Survival Services, this information would be expected to be held by the Trust themselves, and you are requested to contact them directly. Similarly, if any Primary Care Provider has incurred expenditure with Manchester Surgical Services, NHS GM would not hold details of that expenditure, and you should make a request of the relevant provider instead.
