Name of ICB: NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM)

NHS Greater Manchester ICB (NHS GM) was formed on 1st July 2022 following the merger of the 10 former NHS Clinical Commission Groups (CCGs) of Greater Manchester. Information in respect of services commissioned by the former CCGs is not specifically available in respect of support for patients living with HIV.

In addition, on 1st April 2024, NHS GM became the responsible commissioner for various aspects of specialised commissioning, including the commissioning of clinical services for those living with HIV. Prior to this, specialised commissioning services were commissioned by NHS England’s Northwest regional team. However, these are considered to be the commissioning of clinical services, commissioned under the specification available at NHS England » Service specification: adult specialised services for people living with HIV, and are therefore excluded from the data requested below.
