For the purposes of this request, “sleep apnoea services” refers to services for the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and related sleep-disordered breathing conditions in adults.

Question 1: Does your ICB commission a sleep apnoea diagnostic and treatment service?

Which organisation is responsible for commissioning the service; and/or

Whether commissioning responsibility sits directly with a provider organisation or another NHS body.

Question 2: Please identify the provider organisation(s) currently delivering the service commissioned by your ICB (both NHS and private providers).

Question 3: What payment mechanism is used to fund the service?

• Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

A sleep service is not provided at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.

The services are contained within the Trust block contracts which run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.
