The professional disciplines represented within the team (e.g. nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, social workers, support workers)
Please indicate whether the service provides:

If no dedicated community autism service is commissioned, please explain what NHS-funded support is available to autistic adults following diagnosis.
Does your ICB commission a multidisciplinary Community Autism Team equivalent to a Community Learning Disability Team? If yes, please provide details.
Please provide any current autism strategy relating to autistic adults within your ICB area.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response within the statutory timeframe.
NHS Greater Manchester does not commission a dedicated community autism service. The clinical support of autistic adults is provided through our Trust providers e.g. HBTT’s, CMHT’s, Talking Therapy.
If a person requires psychological therapy associated with their diagnosis and dependent on their mental health needs, they can be referred to talking therapy for 1 to 1 or group post diagnostic support.
The ICB also commissions GMAC – Everything you need about autism and more. who provide peer support groups, an advice line, information about autistic support services in each locality and have a range of resources for autistic people and their carers.
NHS Greater Manchester does not commission a multidisciplinary Community Autism Team equivalent to a Community Learning Disability Team.
Please find the link to GM Autism strategy below. This has been extended for a further 12 months whilst we await confirmation from the government on whether they will be updating the national autism strategy.
