I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I understand that following publication of the Wigan Borough Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) 2025–2028, applications relating to pharmaceutical services in Hindley Green have been received.
Please provide the following information in relation to all pharmaceutical list applications submitted for Hindley Green since publication of the Wigan Borough PNA 2025–2028:
1. The number of applications received.
2. The application type for each application (e.g. current need, unforeseen benefits, distance-selling pharmacy, relocation, etc.).
3. The proposed address or location of each application.
4. The date each application was received.
5. The current status of each application:

• Pending
• Granted
• Refused
• Withdrawn
• Under appeal

6. Where a decision has been made:

• Date of decision
• Outcome
• Decision notice

7. Where an appeal has been submitted:

• Current appeal status
• Appeal outcome (if determined)

8. Whether any application has been approved specifically in response to the pharmaceutical need identified within the Hindley Green section of the Wigan Borough PNA 2025–2028.
9. Whether NHS Greater Manchester considers the identified pharmaceutical need in Hindley Green to have been satisfied or remain outstanding.
10. Copies of any public decision notices, determination letters or outcome summaries relating to Hindley Green pharmacy applications.

9. Applications have been reviewed and granted based on the information within the PNA. The decision on whether the pharmaceutical need has been satisfied or remains outstanding as per the PNA, this is a decision to be made by the Wigan Health and Wellbeing Board.
