I am writing to make a formal request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please provide the following information:

1. What was the total expenditure on temporary accommodation for staff, locum doctors, agency nurses, visiting consultants, contractors and project teams in 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25?
2. Do you hold any contracts with accommodation providers for visiting staff, consultants or contractors? If so please provide contract values and expiry dates.
3. How many staff, consultants or contractors required temporary or overnight accommodation in each of the last three financial years?
4. What procurement route is used to source temporary accommodation — framework agreement, direct award, open tender or spot purchase?
5. Who is the named officer responsible for procurement of temporary staff accommodation?
6. Are there any upcoming tenders or procurement exercises planned for staff accommodation provision within the next 24 months?
7. Do you operate any preferred supplier lists for accommodation providers and if so how can a supplier apply to be included?
8. Which accommodation agencies or providers currently hold contracts with you for staff accommodation?

Taking the definition of temporary accommodation as being arrangements made for individuals needing a place to stay for a short period of time whilst working for the organisation then NHS GM does not hold any contracts with accommodation providers or incurred any expenditure for the years requested.
