I request the following recorded information relating to the commissioning of adult NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) services by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board.

For each of the ten Greater Manchester localities (Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan), please provide:

1. A list of all third-party organisations currently commissioned to deliver adult NHS Continuing Healthcare-funded care.
2. For each organisation, please state:

• The organisation’s name.
• Its legal status (e.g. private company, charity, community interest company, social enterprise, NHS Trust, NHS Foundation Trust or other).
• Whether it provides domiciliary care, supported living, residential care, nursing care, live-in care or another type of CHC-funded service.
• The date the organisation was first commissioned to provide CHC-funded services within that locality.
• The commencement date of the current commissioning arrangement, contract or framework (where applicable).
• The contract expiry date or review date (where applicable).
• The commissioning mechanism used (e.g. framework agreement, approved provider list, dynamic purchasing system, block contract, spot purchase or another arrangement).

1. Where a provider was originally commissioned by a former Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), please identify the relevant former CCG.
2. Please provide the names of any current framework agreements, approved provider lists or dynamic purchasing systems used to commission adult NHS Continuing Healthcare services across Greater Manchester.
3. If this information is already held in a contract register or similar commissioning database, I am content to receive extracts from those records.

• We don’t currently collect this information. All continuing healthcare providers are Non-NHS, and information would be available in the public domain on the Companies House/Charities Commission websites
• Included in the attached spreadsheet.
• We do not hold this information; this would need to come from individual localities at the point the package was put in place
• All providers in the attached have held a contract since 01.04.2025
• 31.03.2026. All contracts are in the process of going through approval for 12 months extension.

1. We do not hold this information. All Continuing Healthcare CCG have now expired and new ICB contracts have been put in place.

1. There is no GM framework in place for Continuing Healthcare – Nursing Homes or Domiciliary Care, care packages. All packages are directly awarded, unless commissioned via a local council on our behalf

There is a Greater Manchester Framework – Supporting People to Live Well at Home. It covers the following specialisms: Learning disabilities, Complex Lives, Neurodivergent, Complex Mental Health, Complex Dementia, Preparing for Adulthood and Individualised Commissioning.
