Please take this as a freedom of information request for Stockport MBC’s IVF funding policy. I had IVF at Create clinic in Wilmslow, funded via the NHS / Stockport MBC. Create have charged me to store my frozen embryos. I queried this as a friend was not charged for storage and I asked for sight of the funding policy. Create have told me they cannot disclose the contract with the funding provisions to me. I have tried to do some research online but I cannot find the policy

NHS GM ICB commissions and funds Assisted Conception services from Create Fertility. An overview of what the funded treatment consists of is detailed below.  Specifically NHS GM will fund embryo, blastocyst freezing and storage for the duration of the cycle.
