I am submitting a FOI request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the current commissioning policy, commissioning statement, or eligibility criteria for female sterilisation (tubal occlusion/tubal ligation/bilateral salpingectomy) used by NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board.

If no standalone policy exists, please provide any commissioning guidance, clinical pathway, service specification, or decision-making framework used when determining eligibility for female sterilisation.

If the policy has been superseded or inherited from a former Clinical Commissioning Group, please provide the current version in force and the date it came into effect.

There isn’t an NHS Greater Manchester ICB Female sterilisation commissioning statement. Reversal of sterilisation is covered in the GM Assisted Conception Policy
