I would like to request the following please (a previous FOI request), however if there is a 2026 version that would be great too. 

I’m writing to request copies of the Excel spreadsheets referenced in your FOI responses:

• FOI 2025/1272 – “A list of all PCNs in your ICB and the Clinical Director and PCN manager in charge of that PCN.”
• FOI 2025/1280 – “Names and contact email addresses of Clinical Directors, PCN Managers …”

Your website notes that an Excel sheet was sent to the requesters and that we can request a copy by email. Please could you send the original files (ideally in .xlsx), or if easier a consolidated spreadsheet covering all Greater Manchester PCNs with the following fields where held:

PCN name; locality/borough; federation (if held); PCN manager name; PCN manager email; postal address for the PCN/federation/host organisation; Clinical Director name and email

Information regarding the PCN managers is considered exempt from disclosure under section 40 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as it constitutes personal data where disclosure would be in breach of the Data Protection Act 2018.

In addition, the email addresses (which includes names, as personal data) are available to NHS Greater Manchester to provide direct communication channels between themselves for official business reasons. There is an expectation that it is not intended for release into the public domain or to provide a general contact list for public or business use.

As section 40 (2) is an absolute exemption there is no duty to consider disclosure in the public interest. They are set out in Part II of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

To assist you with your enquiry, we have attached below a list of the GP practices along with the locality and the Clinical Directors name.
