I am writing further to the information published under FOI2026/1977 regarding the two pending current-need pharmacy applications for MediaCity / Salford Quays.

Please could you provide the following information held as at the date of this request:

1. The current procedural status of the application from FHR Healthcare Limited received on 20 March 2026 for the MediaCityUK Shopping Centre / Quayside area, M50 3UB.
2. The current procedural status of the application from AZA PH (1) Limited received on 1 July 2026 for the best-estimate location M50 2TG.
3. For each application, please confirm:

– whether the consultation / representation period has closed;

– whether any oral hearing, Primary Care Commissioning Committee consideration or other determination meeting has been scheduled or held;

– the date of any scheduled determination or hearing, where this can be disclosed;

– whether a decision has been made but not yet published;

– whether any appeal has been lodged.

4. Please provide copies of any non-exempt application notices, consultation notices, location plans/maps, proposed core and supplementary opening hours, and decision/outcome reports relating to either application. Redacted copies are acceptable where necessary.
5. Please confirm whether any further Regulation 13/14 current-need applications relating to the MediaCity need have been received since 1 July 2026, including date received, applicant, proposed location and current status.
6. Please confirm whether NHS Greater Manchester still regards the MediaCity current need identified in the Salford PNA 2025–2028 as outstanding as at the date of this request.

Both applications are currently in consultation period.  The Pharmacy Service Regulations Panel are yet to consider the applications, therefore there are no decisions on the outcome or appeals.
