The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) is offering a new mental health online course for anyone living or working in Greater Manchester. It’s been developed in partnership with NHS Greater Manchester, and is to help people better understand:
- the differences between mental health and poor mental health
- the things we can do to help us cope with our negative thoughts and feelings
- the benefit of talking and sharing our thoughts and feelings with someone we trust.
The course takes one hour.
As mental health issues continue to rise, highlighting coping strategies to help people maintain wellbeing is important. It’s normal to not feel ok sometimes and having a chat to someone about how we’re feeling can help us to feel less alone.
Who is the mental health online course for?
This course is for everyone living or working in Greater Manchester.
If you or people you know are feeling stressed or worried this course will help you talk and think about it.
Talking about things more often and more openly can help us to be happier and healthier, and this can help us to think and feel more positive.
