Get To Know Where To Go Summer 2025 August

As we approach the August Bank Holiday, exam results days and the beginning of the new school year, our second Get To Know Where To Go toolkit is here to help Greater Manchester residents stay healthy and well.

Bank Holidays can be a busy time for the NHS, so we’ve included reminders to get repeat prescription requests in early and to check pharmacy opening times. As exam results day approaches, some of our younger residents (and their parents and carers!) may begin to feel the strain so we have plenty of resources to help signpost people to the support they need. And for little ones just starting their school journey there are important reminders to check vaccinations are up to date before the new school year.

We want to make sure people are well prepared and know where to go to get the care they need as quickly as possible.
