Philippa Johnson is returning to her North West roots and will be taking the helm at NHS Greater Manchester Stockport Locality as its new Deputy Place Lead.

Since September 2019, over 9,000 Salford residents aged 55-74 with a history of smoking have attended a free NHS lung health check.

Rapid HIV testing within community venues, forms part of an ongoing programme of interventions available locally to promote regular testing and reduce the numbers of people diagnosed late with HIV.

In Greater Manchester, more than 6,379 people are thought to be living with HIV, with an estimated 5% unaware of their status.  National HIV Testing Week promotes regular testing among the most affected population groups – helping to reduce the number of people living with undiagnosed HIV and those diagnosed late.
