The Children’s Community Nursing Team includes Registered Children’s Nurses with hospital and community experience, including a Complex Needs Nurse, Paediatric Epilepsy Specialist Nurse, and Paediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Providing nursing care, support, and health education for children and young people in Bury aged 0–18 years (up to 19 years for those with complex needs, in full-time education, or under a paediatric consultant).

Support includes:

  • Intravenous medicines/injections
  • Wound and post-operative care
  • Nasogastric tubes (NGT) and gastrostomies
  • Complex needs
  • Respiratory conditions
  • Eczema, constipation, diabetes, and epilepsy management
  • End-of-life and palliative care
  • Oncology

Offering flexible, family-centred care through clinics, home visits, and virtual appointments. Referrals are accepted from community and hospital health professionals by phone, email, or letter.

Available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, 8am–8pm.
