Did you know, if you need urgent dental care and your dentist is closed or you don’t have a regular dentist, you can access the Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service by calling 0333 332 3800 to get help or advice?

When you call you’ll be assessed by a healthcare professional. They may provide you with self-care advice for your symptoms, give safe pain relief advice, or book you a face-to-face appointment if needed. This can be at a location most convenient to you across Greater Manchester.

How to access the Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service

Call the Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service on 0333 332 3800.

The Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service operates on an appointment only basis. It does not offer a drop-in service and does not offer routine care or check-ups.

There is an NHS patient charge of £26.80 for each appointment with this service but it’s free to children.

Get help with dental costs

You may be eligible for free dental care if you’re:

  • under the age of 18 (or 19 if in full time education),
  • pregnant women (up to 12 months after the baby has been born),
  • or on low-income benefits.

Those who have a low income, but don’t qualify for free dental care, may also be able to get help with costs. Check eligibility for help with dental costs on the NHS website.
